Live an unforgettable experience discovering Etna and the Alcantara Gorges, in a complete tour among nature, volcanic landscapes, and Sicilian traditions.
We will pick you up near your accommodation, hotel, or arrival port between 8:30 and 9:00.
Accompanied by our expert guides, you will explore the highest active volcano in Europe, crossing ancient lava flows, lunar landscapes, lush forests, and breathtaking views. During the tour, you will visit a fascinating lava cave in complete safety and have the opportunity to taste typical local products.
For lunch, a stop is planned at a mountain lodge, where you can enjoy typical Sicilian dishes. It is important to report any allergies or dietary requirements in advance (vegetarian and vegan options available).
In the afternoon, we will visit the spectacular Alcantara Gorges, formed thousands of years ago by the encounter between scorching lava and the cold waters of the river, creating a unique natural setting.

- Exploration of a fascinating lava flow cave with helmets and torches provided by the organization
- Visit to the ancient lateral craters of Etna at about 2,000 meters altitude
- Soft trekking among volcanic landscapes, lava flows, and breathtaking panoramas, suitable for everyone
- Transfer to the spectacular Alcantara Gorges
- Time to visit the natural canyon carved into the lava rock and admire the characteristic basalt formations
- Return and drop-off at the accommodation

Abbiamo scelto il tour dell'Etna e delle Gole dell'Alcantara, e abbiamo avuto un'esperienza meravigliosa.
La nostra guida turistica, Jessica, è arrivata esattamente in orario e ci ha prelevato proprio davanti al nostro alloggio. La nostra prima tappa sono state le Gole dell'Alcantara, dove abbiamo avuto circa mezz'ora per esplorare la zona, che è stata più che sufficiente.
Dopo di ciò, ci siamo diretti verso l'Etna. Abbiamo fatto due soste lungo il percorso. Prima abbiamo visitato i Crateri Sartorius, e poi abbiamo proseguito fino all'area della funivia, dove abbiamo avuto la possibilità di assaggiare alcuni liquori locali, crema di pistacchio e miele.
Successivamente, siamo tornati a casa. Abbiamo davvero apprezzato il tour e ci siamo divertiti molto. Jessica ha condiviso molte informazioni interessanti sull'Etna ed è stata molto gentile e amichevole durante tutto il viaggio.
Sulla via del ritorno, mentre attraversavamo Taormina, ci ha anche mostrato le sue impressionanti abilità di guida. Ha gestito le strade strette incredibilmente bene, soprattutto considerando che stava guidando un grande SUV!
Nel complesso, abbiamo davvero apprezzato il tour e lo consiglieremmo sicuramente. Grazie, Jessica, per una giornata meravigliosa!
